Saudi Arabia’s budget deficit hit SAR 33.52 billion in Q2-19

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s budget deficit fell by 86% to SAR 5.7 billion during the first half of 2019, compared to SAR 41.7 billion in H1-18.

Total income of the GCC nation increased by 15% in H1-19, while expenses levelled up by 6% over the same period, according to a recent report by the Saudi Ministry of Finance (MoF).

On a quarterly basis, the kingdom’s budget deficit hit SAR 33.52 billion in the second quarter of 2019.

Total income reached SAR 260.7 billion in Q2-19, while expenses recorded SAR 294.22 billion.
