Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) ended Tuesday’s trading session in red territory for the fifth session in a row.
The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went down by 0.84%, or 71.18 points, ending the session at 8,394.07 points.
TASI’s turnover increased to SAR 2.94 billion on Tuesday, from SAR 2.54 billion on Monday, while trading volume levelled up to 120.83 million shares, compared to 95.56 million shares in the previous session.
The banking sector went down by 1.42%, followed by the material sector with 0.78%.
By the end of the session, the software and services sector headed the losers falling 1.75%.
On the other hand, the pharma sector topped the gainers adding 1.75%, followed by the energy sector with 1.21%.
Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, retreated by 0.27%, or 10.25 points, finishing the session at 3,805 points
