Riyadh – Mubasher: Aseer Trading, Tourism, and Manufacturing Company turned to profit during the second quarter of 2019, compared to the corresponding period in 2018.

Aseer reported a SAR 18.6 net profit in Q2-19, according to a bourse statement released on Tuesday.

The achievement of profit was attributed to the decline in cost of sales and distribution, along with the increase in other income.

In the first six months of 2018, Aseer’s profit soared 146.39% to SAR 23.9 million, compared to SAR 9.7 million in the year-ago period.

Aseer reported a 58.3% year-on-year decline in net profit during the first quarter of 2019, recording SAR 5 million.
