Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) has purchased 415,000 tonnes of wheat in an international tender, Reuters reported.  

The North African country has agreed to buy 115,000 tonnes of Ukrainian wheat, 240,000 tonnes of Russian wheat, and 60,000 tonnes of Romanian wheat.

GASC launched a tender to purchase wheat from international suppliers to be shipped between 5-15 September.
