Saudi indices end Wednesday’s trade in green
TASI went up by 1.06 % by the end of Wednesday's session

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) ended Wednesday’s trading session in green territory, after five straight drops, encouraged by the growth of the banking and material sectors.

The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went up by 1.06 %, or 88.88 points, ending the session at 8,482.95 points.

TASI’s turnover increased to SAR 3.04 billion on Wednesday, from SAR 2.95 billion on Tuesday, while trading volume levelled down to 111.43 million shares, compared to 120.84 million shares in the previous session.

The energy sector topped the risers adding 1.78%, followed by the commercial services and utilities sector with 1.68% and 1.6%, respectively.

Similarly, the banking sector increased by 1.1%, while the telecommunication sector advanced by 1.2%.

On the negative side, the pharma sector was the bourse’s only loser falling 0.96%.

Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, jumped by 1.7%, or 66.01 points, finishing the session at 3,871.75 points.
