Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market’s (DFM) general index went down by 62.43 points, or 2.15%, to 2,837.96 points in a week.

The banking, investment, and consumer staples sectors lost 1.19%, 1.82%, and 2.99%, respectively.

Emaar Properties sank 2.7%, while Emirates NBD declined by 1.3% and DXB Entertainments levelled down by 3.5%.

Market capitalisation decreased to AED 369.5 billion over the week, compared to AED 375.36 billion in the previous week.

Trading volume reached 517.24 million shares, while liquidity amounted to AED 878 billion.
