Cairo- Mubasher: The consolidated financial statements of Tourah Portland Cement Co. revealed a 204.73% year-on-year increase in losses during the first half of 2019.

The company’s losses surged to EGP 461.25 million in H1-19 from EGP 2.24 million in H1-18, including minority shareholders’ rights, Tourah Cement disclosed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Wednesday.

On a quarterly basis, Tourah Cement’s net losses hiked to EGP 50.9 million in the first quarter of 2019 from EGP 13.8 million in Q1-18.
