Mubasher: As part of its continuous efforts to boost its human capital, Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain (KFH Bahrain) has recently partnered with the Bahrain Fintech Bay and SettleMint Blockchain Academy to deliver an intensive and interactive three-day Blockchain training programme.

The programme was successfully held from 9 to 11 July 2019 where several employees from various departments were present, in a way indicating that blockchain has emerged and proved its potential ability to positively transform several financial services.

The training programme had the CEO and Founder of SettleMint Matthew Van Niekerk, who has a global demonstrated history in the financial industry, as a keynote speaker, with the objective to demystify the blockchain technology and provide all of the know-how practical skills to initiate this new technology in teams and firms.

Managing director and CEO of KFH – Bahrain, Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat said that the “Financial Technology is shaping the direction of the financial sector and global banking, and as banking professionals, it is increasingly important to be aware of the latest technological advancements and to incorporate innovative state-of-the-art financial technology into our business models.”

He further commented, “Blockchain technology space is one of these advancements impacting the business world, and we focus on being proactive in this area with the aim of continuously enhancing our products and service offerings and automating our processes with the ultimate goal of better serving our clients.”
