Mubasher: Swiss-Belhotel International has unveiled plans to expand in Vietnam and add at least 10 hotels and resorts to its portfolio in the Asian country by 2021.

The Hong Kong-based company has signed new hotels in Vietnam, according to a statement released on Thursday.

“With its beautiful natural scenery, long coastline and captivating culture, Vietnam is an extremely attractive destination. Swiss-Belhotel International sees significant potential all over the country, not only in its beachfront locations but also in its dynamic cities and heritage centres,” Swiss-Belhotel’s chairman, Gavin M. Faull, said.

The Swiss-Belhotel Suites & Residences Ha Long Bay is slated for inauguration in the fourth quarter of 2019.

Moreover, Swiss-Belresort Bai Dai Phu Quoc, which includes 218 rooms and villas, along with outdoor pools, a spa, and a restaurant, is planned to be opened in 2022.  

“We look forward to working with local developers to bring Swiss-Belhotel International’s world-class hospitality to guests in vibrant Vietnam,” Faull commented.

Swiss-Belhotel International operates 150 hotels, resorts, and residences on four continents.
