Egypt builds EGP 48.5bn private universities

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of higher education and scientific research has established three private universities with EGP 48.5 billion in investments, the higher education minister Khalid Abdel Ghaffar said on Sunday.

On the sidelines of the opening ceremonies of celebrating the Science Day, Abdel Ghaffar highlighted that the universities were built in partnership with the Egyptian Armed Forces and the Ministry of Housing.

The universities include King Salman University in South Sinai, the Arab Academy for Science in Hadabet El Galala, Alamein University in New Alamein city, and New Mansoura University in New Mansoura, he added.

It is worth noting that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi had started the Science Day ceremonies with the presence of the prime minister and a number of ministers and professors.
