Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait ended Monday’s trading session with mixed performance.

The All-Share Market and Premier indices grew 0.35% and 0.51%, respectively, while the Main index declined by 0.11%.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover decreased by 17.3% to KWD 29.63 million on Monday compared to KWD 35.81 million in the previous session, and the trading volume went down by 12.8% to 155.92 million shares from 178.86 million.

By the end of Monday, the Main index of Boursa Kuwait has seen slight rebounds over the session, remaining resistant at 6,030 points, financial analyst Nawaf Al Oun told Mubasher.

He added that the move gives a positive signal for the continuation of growth.  

As for the Premier index, Al Oun said that the index targets breaking the support level of 6,640 points.

The telecommunication sector topped the bourse’s seven risers adding 1.04%.

On the negative side, the consumer goods sector headed the market’s three losers falling 1.2%.
