Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market’s (DFM) general index inched down 1.72 points, or 0.06%, to close at 2,788.99 points on Tuesday.
The consumer staples and services sectors went down by 0.75% and 0.34%, respectively, while the banking sector edged down 0.06%.
On the other hand, the real estate sector grew by 0.18%, while the investment sector inched up 0.02%.
Market capitalisation declined to AED 363.98 billion on Tuesday, compared to AED 364.6 billion in the previous session.
DXB Entertainments increased by 0.87%, while Damac Properties and Arabtec Holding rose by 0.75% and 0.6%, respectively.
The DFM’s trading volume reached 98.22 million shares, while the market’s liquidity amounted to AED 124.77 million.
