Cairo – Mubasher: Hero Nutritional Food Industries achieved sales of EGP 600 million during the first half of 2019.

Hero aims to increase its sales by 18% to EGP 1.3 billion this year, of which EGP 845 million in the Egyptian market, managing director of Hero Middle East and Africa, Mahmoud Bazan, said in a statement on Tuesday.

The company is operating at 60% of its total capacity through eleven production lines, Bazan added.

Hero’s exports are expected to reach EGP 455 million by the end of 2019 from EGP 370 million in 2018, head of infant nutrition sales at Hero Middle East and Africa, Saher Nadim, said.

The company aims to export 35% of its annual sales to more than 35 countries, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, Libya, the US, Japan, and Canada as well as many African countries.
