UAE – Mubasher: The average price of the diesel group in the emirate of Abu Dhabi rose by 8.5% quarter-on-quarter during the second quarter of 2019, according to a report by Statistics Centre − Abu Dhabi (SCAD).
The average price of the false ceiling group increased by 5.5% in Q2-19 and the prices of the wires for apartments went up by 4.2% as compared to the previous quarter, the SCAD highlighted.
On the other hand, the average price of PVC pipes fell by 14.1% quarter-on-quarter during the three-month period ended 30 June 2019, and the average price of the glass group slashed by 4.7%.
Moreover, the average price of the waterproofing products group within the UAE’s capital decreased by 1.4% in Q2-19, as compared with Q1-19.
Year-on-year, the average prices of wires for apartments and wires for small buildings went up by 11.4% and 9.3%, respectively, in Q2-19.
The average prices of the tiles and marble group grew by 11.7% year-on-year in Q2-19, the SCAD indicated.
Furthermore, the prices of transport equipment and waterproofing products increased by 11% and 7.8%, respectively, as compared with the same quarter of 2018.
