Cairo – Mubasher: A total of eleven housing contracts have been signed in the first and second phases of public-private partnership (PPP) projects in Egypt, the deputy minister of housing Khaled Abbas said.
Investments ranging between EGP 120 billion and EGP 150 billion in value are expected to be injected to these projects with lands ranging between 6,000 and 8,000 feddans, Abbas told reports on Thursday.
The housing ministry launched the first and second phases of PPP projects in 2015 and 2017, respectively.
In March 2017, the then minister of housing Mostafa Madbouly revealed that investments to be implemented in partnership with the private sector amounted to EGP 500 billion.
