Saudi exports fall 18.9% in June – GASTAT
Exports of Saudi Arabia reached SAR 77.08 billion in June

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s exports decreased by 18.9% year-on-year in June, according to the latest data released by the Saudi General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).

Exports of Saudi Arabia reached SAR 77.08 billion in June, compared to SAR 95.04 billion in June 2018.

On a monthly basis, exports of the kingdom retreated by 12.5% by the end of June.

Oil exports

Oil exports of the GCC nation declined by 22.2%, or SAR 17.13 billion, in June.

They reached SAR 60.03 billion in June, compared to SAR 77.16 billion in the corresponding period of 2018.

Non-oil exports

By the end of June, Saudi Arabia’s non-oil exports inched down by 4.7% year-on-year, recording SAR 17.07 billion.

The UAE topped the list with total imports from Saudi Arabia valued at SAR 2.78 billion.
