Cairo – Mubasher: Arab Drug Co. reported a 9% year-on-year profit increase during fiscal year 2018/2019, according to the company’s unaudited financial results.   

Net profits after taxes reached EGP 43.103 million in the twelve-month period ended 30 June, compared to EGP 39.47 million in the year-ago period, the company said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the company generated revenues of EGP 436.35 million in FY18/19, compared to EGP 382.93 million in FY17/18.

During the first eleven months of FY18/19, Arab Drug Co.’s net profits before taxes amounted to EGP 50.29 million, compared to EGP 44.26 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.

Net sales rose to EGP 406.69 million in the eleven-month period ended 31 May from EGP 358.29 million in the year-ago period.
