Mubasher: Number of passengers travelled through Kuwait International Airport (KIA) grew around 3% year-on-year in August, reaching 1.7 million.

The number of flights went up by 5% to 11,209 during last month, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) twitted on Wednesday.

In July, number of passengers flew through KIA grew 12% to 1.36 million, from 1.22 million in the year-ago period.
