Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt exported food products of $1.826 billion during the first seven months of 2019, rising by 7.5% year-on-year from $1.699 million, the country’s minister of trade and industry Amr Nassar said.  

For the full-year 2018, exports of food industries reached $2.83 billion, Nassar added in a statement released by the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation on Tuesday.

Top destinations of Egypt’s exports of food industries include Saudi Arabia, Libya, Jordan, the US, Yemen, the UAE, Iraq, Morocco, and Kuwait, he added.
