Tadawul rises for 3rd session on Sunday; turnover down to SAR 1.6bn
NOMU’s liquidity hiked to SAR 2.48 million

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) ended Sunday’s trading session up, while the bourse’s sectors closed on a mixed note and liquidity shrank.

Likewise, NOMU, the benchmark index on the Nomu-Parallel Market closed in the green zone, unlike last week’s performance.

TASI edged up by 0.34% to close at 7,954.14 points after earning 27.32 points.

The bourse’s turnover plunged to SAR 1.672 billion, the lowest level since the SAR 1.67 billion posted in February 2019, from SAR 8.51 billion on Thursday, 18 September.

The number of exchanged shares tumbled to 78.13 million from 260.85 million.

A group of thirteen sectors closed the session in rise, led by the software and services with 5.3%, followed by the capital goods with 1.95%. The media and entertainment sector led the fallers with 2.3%, followed by the pharma, biotech, and life science sector with 0.96%.

Saudi Ceramic Company topped 125 gainers with 7.6%, while Saudi Research and Marketing Group headed 52 losers with 2.7%.

Al Rajhi Bank was the most active stock with SAR 198.79 million, while Najran Cement Company led the trading activity with 5.63 million shares exchanged.

Similarly, NOMU levelled up by the end of Sunday’s session by 0.28% to close at 3,846.57 points after earning 10.60 points.

NOMU’s liquidity hiked to SAR 2.48 million from SAR 1.67 million, where nearly 73,060 shares were traded when compared to around 62,560 shares in the previous session.

Al Kathiri Holding Company was the top winner with 7.3%, compared to Baazeem Trading Company which was the only loser with a decline of 0.7%.

Development Works Food Company (DWF) was the most active stock with SAR 1.93 million worth of liquidity registered through the exchange of 49,130 shares.
