Cairo – Mubasher: The board of directors of Egypt Aluminum recommended the distribution of cash dividends of EGP 0.50 per share to shareholders for fiscal year 2018/2019.  

The total value of proposed cash dividends amounted to EGP 206.24 million for FY18/19, Egypt Aluminum said in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Wednesday.   

The company’s net profits tumbled to EGP 570.93 million during the period from July 2018 to June 2019, when compared to EGP 2.71 billion in FY17/18.

Meanwhile, revenues plunged to EGP 12.19 billion in FY18/19, dropping by 9.73% from EGP 13.5 billion during FY17/18.
