Dubai - Mubasher: Emirates NBD, a leading banking group in the region, on Wednesday announced it has been ranked the 19th among 250 businesses in the Forbes’ third annual list of the World’s Best Regarded Companies, according to a press release.

Chairman of the bank Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum commented: “We are delighted and honoured to be recognised by Forbes as one of the world’s best regarded companies. The ranking reflects Emirates NBD’s relentless efforts to deliver unparalleled customer service and best-in-class products and services, while remaining a champion of corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives.”

“As we prepare for Expo 2020 Dubai next year, Emirates NBD will remain at the forefront with its initiatives to simplify banking, aiming to deliver a modern technology-driven banking experience with the human touch,” bin Saeed Al Maktoum added.

As per the list compiled by Forbes in partnership with Statista, the companies were ranked based on their trustworthiness, social conduct, the credibility of products and services they provide, and how they award employees.

Almost 15,000 respondents from over 50 counties were surveyed by Statista to deliver the world’s 250 best-regarded businesses list.
