Mubasher: The US natural gas storage jumped by 112 billion cubic feet (Bcf) in the week ended 27 September, to a total of 3,317 Bcf, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) said.

Stockpiles were 465 Bcf higher than past year’s figure, and they were 18 Bcf below the five-year average of 3,335 Bcf.

Following the release of the data, Nymex natural gas futures dropped by 0.76% to $2.23 per million British thermal units (MMBtu).
