Saudi indices start Wednesday in red
The banking sector topped the bourse’s decliners falling 0.61%

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Wednesday’s trading session with negative performance, dragged by the fall of the banking sector.

By 11:00 am KSA time, the main Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) went down by 0.62%, or 48.44 points, to 7,784.53 points.

TASI’s traded volume reached 22.87 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 555.74 million through 25,000 transactions.

The banking sector topped the bourse’s decliners falling 0.61%, while the material sector retreated by 0.57%.

On the other hand, the consumer sector headed the risers adding 0.34, followed by the real estate and transportation sectors with 0.28% and 0.21%, respectively.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, fell by 6.26%, or 250 points, to 3,755.92 points.
