Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has seen an upward trend this week as the general index gained 45.53 points, or 0.91%, closing the week at 5,073.49 points.

Market capitalisation gained AED 3.292 billion and closed the week at AED 518.789 billion.

Turnover shrank to AED 480.03 million during this week’s trading, versus nearly AED 617.53 million last week.

The weekly trading volume amounted to 166.51 million, compared to 209.77 million shares in the previous week.

The telecommunication sector rose by 0.85% and the investment sector went up by 1.29%.

Similarly, the banks sector added 0.72% as First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) levelled up by 0.9% and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) increased by 1.7%.

The real estate sector rose as well back by Aldar Properties that jumped by 6.5%.
