Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) declined by 225.67 points, or 2.85%, to reach 7,695.48 points during the week ended 10 October.
A group of 20 sectors went down, while only one sector grew. The Media sector dropped 9.99%, while the software sector decreased by 6% and the food retailing plunged 4.4%.
The banking sector sank 4.05%, while the telecom and material sectors shrank by 2.1% and 1.98%, respectively.
Market capitalisation declined to SAR 1.818 trillion ($484.87 billion) over the week, compared to SAR 1.867 trillion ($497.87 billion) in the previous week.
Trading volume reached 501.04 million shares, while liquidity amounted to SAR 12.9 billion.
