Boursa Kuwait ends Sunday in green
The bourse’s liquidity plunged by 54.9% to KWD 13.17 million

Mubasher: The Kuwaiti indices ended Sunday’s trading session in rise; the All-share, Premier, and Main markets edged up by 0.28%, 0.21%, and 0.48%, respectively.

Meanwhile, the bourse’s liquidity plunged by 54.9% to KWD 13.17 million from KWD 29.18 million in the previous session.

The trading volume retreated by 39.2% to 84.91 million shares from 139.71 million.

A group of nine sectors rose, headed by the technology with 20% approximately, whereas the oil and gas and the insurance sectors levelled down by 0.09% and 0.53%, respectively.

Automated Systems topped the risers with 19.61%, while Ras Al Khaimah Co. for White Cement and Construction Materials led the fallers with 14.5%.

KIB posted the highest liquidity of KWD 3 million, the stock went down 0.37%, while Kuwait Real Estate was the most active stock with 26.2 million traded shares, the stock edged up 1.44%.

The Main Market dominated the bourse’s trading activity on Sunday, with Kuwait Real Estate registering more than 30% of the volume, capital market analyst Murad Al Damghi told Mubasher.  

The analyst further noted that the Main Market’s liquidity improved when compared to the previous sessions, acquiring 32.5% of the bourse’s turnover in total.

The All-Share Index exceeded the resistance level of 5,720 points, and is currently facing the first resistance level of 5,757 points, followed by the levels of 5,776 points and 5,795 points, respectively.
