Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt Aluminum announced that its shareholders approved raising the cash dividend distribution for fiscal year 2018/2019 to EGP 0.75 per share from the proposed EGP 0.50 during an ordinary general meeting (OGM), according to a bourse disclosure on Tuesday.

In September, the company’s board of directors recommended a cash dividend distribution of EGP 0.50 a share at a total value of EGP 206.24 million for FY18/19.

The aluminium manufacturing firm’s net profits declined to EGP 570.93 million during the period from July 2018 to last June, compared to EGP 2.71 billion in FY17/18.
