Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Wednesday’s trading session on a positive note.
The DFM’s index inched up 1.83 points, or 0.06%, to 2,825.69 points.
Trading volume amounted to 317.47 million shares that were exchanged through 3,324 transactions at a turnover of AED 258.42 million.
Market capitalisation gained AED 152 million and closed the session at AED 372.79 billion.
The services sector went up by 0.64%, followed by the banks sector that added 0.17%.
On the other hand, the consumer staples, the investment, and the real estate fell by 0.40%, 0.25%, and 0.19%, respectively.
Amlak Finance’s stock headed the winners with 4.53%, while Al Salam Bank – Sudan’s stock led the losers with 6.67%.
Deyaar Development was the most active stock by volume with 88.53 million traded shares, while Air Arabia was the most active stock by value with a turnover of AED 84.27 million.
