Cairo – Mubasher: Heliopolis Company for Housing and Development affirmed that it has not made any official statements regarding extending the deadline for bids to prequalify for the management of the company and the acquisition of a 10% stake.

Any developments in this regard will be disclosed, the real estate developer said in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Thursday.

Sources previously told Mubasher that the company will likely announce a new deadline date in the coming period.

The Egyptian minister of public enterprise Hesham Tawfik previously revealed plans to list 25% of the company’s shares owned by the Holding Company for Construction and Development on the EGX, including a 10% stake to be allocated to a private investor.
