ADX marks 2-session high on Thursday
The ADX’s general index edged up by 0.13%

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Thursday’s trading session in the green territory for the second day in a row.

The ADX’s general index edged up by 0.13% to 5,093.29 points, gaining 6.48 points.

Trading volume amounted to 42.59 million shares that were exchanged at a turnover of AED 155.02 million through 2,073 transactions.

Market capitalisation gained AED 910 million and closed the session at AED 519.74 billion.

The real estate sector increased by 1.28%, the telecommunication sector added 0.24%, the energy sector levelled up 0.07%, and the banks sector inched up by 0.06%.

Commercial Bank International’s (CBI) headed the rising stocks with 8.3%, while Emiratis Driving led the declining stocks with 9.97%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) was the most active stock by value with a turnover of AED 55.01 million, while Aldar Properties was the most active stock by volume with 14.93 million traded shares.
