Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has seen a positive performance this week on the back of real estate stocks.
The ADX’s general index levelled up by 0.39% to 5,093.29 points, gaining 19.80 points.
Market capitalisation increased by AED 950 million to AED 519.74 billion at the end of the week.
The real estate sector rose by 3.65%, backed by Aldar Properties’ stock that increased by 3.33%.
The banks sector added 0.48% as First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) rose by 1.32% and 1.14%, respectively.
The telecommunication sector edged up 0.12% as Sudatel Telecom’s stock jumped by 6.30%.
On the other hand, the energy sector fell by 1.73% as Taqa and Dana Gas went down by 8.57% and 1.58%, respectively.
