Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed the third week of October in a mixed note and market capitalization lost more than EGP 1.5 billion.

The benchmark EGX30 index fell by 0.67%, ending the week at 14,205 points from 14,302 points a week earlier.

Meanwhile, the EGX70 index rose by 1% during the week ended 17 October to close at 534 points, while the EGX100 index advanced by 0.45% to 1,414 points, compared to 1,408 points a week earlier.

Likewise, the equal-weighted EGX50 index increased by 0.41% over the week to 2,063.14 points.

Market capitalisation dropped by EGP 1.5 billion to EGP 717 billion this week from EGP 719 billion a week earlier.
