Riyadh - Mubasher: Kuwait and Saudi Arabia have reportedly reached an agreement to resume oil production in jointly-operated fields in the Neutral Zone between the oil-rich countries, Reuters reported on Saturday, citing Kuwaiti newspapers Al-Qabas and al-Rai.

According to Al-Qabas, oil industry and government officials from Saudi Arabia and Kuwait had met and signed an agreement.

Oil production will restart in Khafji following the completion of some administrative procedures, while production will be resumed in Wafra within three months, the newspaper added.
