Mubasher: Ahli United Bank – Kuwait (AUB Kuwait) announced the distribution of periodic dividends worth $5.50 million to the permanent sukuk shareholders of the Ahli United Sukuk Limited Company.  

The sukuk is valued at $200 million, with a 5.50% annual rate of return for the period from 26 April 2019, according to a bourse statement on Wednesday.

The bank noted that the dividends will be distributed on Friday, 25 October.

On Tuesday, AUB Kuwait announced that it has generated 2.9% year-on-year higher profits at KWD 14.48 million during the third quarter of 2019 when compared to KWD 14.07 million.

In March 2019, the bank’s general assembly approved the board’s recommendation to distribute cash dividends and bonus shares for the full fiscal year 2018 by 15% and 5%, respectively.
