UAE – Mubasher: Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC Group) announced the opening of a new services station in Al Warqa’a, bringing up the total number of its existing units in Dubai to 131.

Al Warqa’a station is equipped with cutting-edge technologies as well as innovative features, according to a press release by ENOC, the official integrated energy partner of Expo 2020 Dubai.

Al Warqa’a service station is built to serve the customers living within the neighbourhood of Al Warqa’a and is set to include a number of retail offerings such as ZOOM, Pronto, and a drive-thru Popeyes.

Group CEO of ENOC, Saif Humaid Al Falasi, said, “Our goal is to expand our network to 191 service stations in the lead up to Expo 2020 Dubai, which will significantly add to the ease of customers to access their fuel and convenience-store requirements.”

The station is designed to use natural resources by harnessing solar power through Photovoltaic (PV) solar panels; an energy standing at 150 KwH can be generated through those panels on an ideal day. This marks the Group’s 17th solar powered service station.

In compliance with the Dubai Municipality Green Building Regulations (Al Sa’fat), the service station is equipped with eight new generation fuel dispensers, and four fuel tanks than can ensure consistent supply of fuel, in addition to having one electric vehicle charging station.

“The ZOOM store is equipped with digital displays offering customers the latest updates on product promotions and the latest deals. The store, set in an area of over 3,000 square feet, has over 7,500 products in addition to offering all standard services for customers such as utility and credit card payments, Salik top-up, and flydubai booking payments,” ENOC said in the press release.

The service station accepts all payment methods such as VIP, ENOC Pay, NOL, Dubai Smart Government, Dubai Now, credit card, and cash.
