Riyadh – Mubasher: Astra Industrial Group’s net loss after zakat and tax declined to SAR 14.62 million during the third quarter of 2019, compared to SAR 26.87 million in the year-ago period.

Revenue surged to SAR 443.27 million in Q3-19, against SAR 405.35 million the year before, the company’s interim financial statements showed, according to a bourse statement released Tuesday on Tadawul.

Astra’s operating profit soared to SAR 24.53 million in the three-month period ended September 2019, compared to SAR 4 million in Q3-18.

For the first nine months of 2019, Astra posted a 31.76% year-on-year drop in profits, recording SAR 10 million.

Meanwhile, revenues grew to SAR 1.4 billion in the January-September period, versus SAR 1.32 million the year before.

Earnings per share declined to SAR 0.13 in the first nine months of 2019, from SAR 0.18 in the comparative period in 2018.

Astra’s net profits after zakat and tax went down 1.9% to SAR 15.77 million in Q2-19, compared to SAR 16.08 million in Q2-18.
