Mubasher: The losses of Metal and Recycling Company slid by 79.9% year-on-year to around KWD 92,370 ($304,840) over the third quarter of 2019 from about KWD 459,370 ($1.52 million) a year earlier.

During the period from January-September 2019, the losses amounted to nearly KWD 811,980 from about KWD 940,520 a year earlier, with a 13.7% year-on-year drop.

The drop in losses is ascribed to better financial results of the firm’s subsidiaries.

During the first half of 2019, the firm posted a 49.6% rise in losses to approximately KWD 719,610 when compared to about KWD 481,150 in H1-18.
