Mubasher: The financial statements of Aayan Leasing and Investment showed a turn to loss worth around KWD 164,000 ($541,840) during the third quarter of 2019, versus profits worth about KWD 994,000 ($3.28 million) a year earlier.

During the first nine-month period of 2019, the company incurred losses worth KWD 2.86 million, against profits of KWD 1.22 million in the corresponding period in 2018, according to a bourse statement on Sunday.

The turn to loss was ascribed to a lower share of results of asister companies.

It is worth noting that over the first half of 2019, Aayan Leasing suffered a loss of KWD 2.69 million, versus a profit of about KWD 227,280 in H1-18.
