Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Tuesday’s trading session with positvie performance, for the fourth session in a row, supported by the growth of the banking and materials sectors.
The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) grew by 0.74%, or 58.90 points, ending the week’s mid-session at 7,981.31 points.
TASI’s traded volume reached 112.32 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 3 billion.
The food and staples retailing sector topped the risers adding 3.32%.
On the negative side, the media sector headed the decliners falling 0.87%.
Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, fell by 0.45%, or 29.48 points, finishing the session at 6,564.28 points.
