Cairo – Mubasher: Arab Drug Company’s net profit before tax surged 91.5% year-on-year during the first four months of the fiscal year 2019/2020.

The company’s profit before tax soared to EGP 34.7 million from July to October 2019, compared to EGP 18.12 million in the year-ago period, according to a bourse statement released on Tuesday.

Net sales grew to EGP 173.5 million in the four-month period ended 31 October, against EGP 143.68 million the year before.

It is worth noting that Arab Drug’s profit totalled EGP 18.7 million in the first quarter of FY19/20 when compared to EGP 9.7 million in the corresponding quarter in 2018.
