Mubasher: The losses of Ekttitab Holding, listed on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and Boursa Kuwait, widened by 322% year-on-year (YoY) at nearly KWD 143,350 ($472,840) over the third quarter in 2019 from about 33,980 ($112,080).

Over the first nine months of 2019, the losses amounted to around KWD 380,570 from about KWD 401,970 in the same period in 2018, with a 5% YoY decline due to losses from investments.

Net operating loss totalled approximately KWD 77,940 in the January-September period of the year, 58% larger than about KWD 49,420 a year earlier, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.

It is worth highlighting that over the second quarter in 2019, the losses registered about KWD 195,400, 93% YoY up from nearly KWD 100,920.
