Aramco has participated in the establishment of 19 Saudi national training academies

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Aramco is investing in Saudi Arabia’s youth, the Kingdom’s most valuable asset, said Nabil Al Dabal, Executive Director of Human Resources at Saudi Aramco.

Al Dabal remarks came during the Asbar World Forum (AWF), where he pointed to a recent deal signed with the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), as part of the company’s efforts to develop its staff and prepare them for the future, according to a press release on Thursday.

Furthermore, Aramco has participated in the establishment of 19 national training academies, with 11 more set to be completed by 2030, the HR Executive Director added, noting that more than 16,000 Saudis have graduated from these academies with high levels of skills across more than 30 specializations.

The Saudi company is also applying the technologies of the fourth industrial revolution in the exploration and production of hydrocarbon resources, Al Dabal further noted.

The fourth edition of the Asbar World Forum (AWF) 2019 was held on 4-6 November in Riyadh, under the patronage of Riyadh Prince Faisal Bin Bandar, and the sponsorship of Saudi Aramco.

The Prince of Riyadh stressed the important role played by media and telecommunications in the age of science and technology, noting that the Kingdom is working under an ambitious strategy with the Saudi Vision 2030.

AWF 2019 saw the participation of more than 100 local and international speakers and experts, from more than 15 countries, through 14 sessions, eight keynote speeches, and six workshops.
