Cairo – Mubasher: Al Baraka Bank – Egypt has posted a 36.56% year-on-year profit increase during the first nine months of 2019.

The bank’s profit reached EGP 863.64 million from January to September 2019, compared to EGP 632.43 million in the year-ago period, according to a bourse statement released on Thursday.

By the end of September 2019, Al Baraka Bank’s deposits recorded EGP 63.123 billion, against EGP 54.535 billion at the end of December 2018. Assets hiked to EGP 70.817 billion year-to-date.

It is worth mentioning that the EGX-listed bank reported a 30.8% YoY profit increase during the first six months of 2019, recording EGP 537.6 million.
