Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries Company (Julphar) has posted a 163.5% year-on-year loss hike during the third quarter of the fiscal year 2019.
The company’s loss surged to AED 201.3 million in Q3-19, compared to AED 76.4 million in the year-ago period, according to a bourse statement.
In the first nine months of 2019, Julphar’s loss skyrocketed to AED 385.2 million, from AED 25.4 million a year earlier.
The Abu Dhabi-listed company’s accumulated loss reached AED 385.2 million at the end of September 2019, accounting for 33% of capital.
It is worth mentioning that Julphar suffered incurred losses attributed to the owners of the parent company worth AED 94.8 million in Q2-19, against AED 31.3 million profits in Q2-18.
