UAE – Mubasher: Tawazun Economic Council has reportedly signed agreements with France’s MBDA and Dassault Aviation companies for the launch of a missile engineering facility and a flight testing centre in the UAE, Reuters reported on Saturday.

The agreement with MBDA will see the French company setting up its first missile engineering centre in the region.

Moreover, Tawazun sealed a deal with Dassault Aviation for the building of a flight testing centre in Abu Dhabi.

“The facility will play a pivotal role in laying the foundation for future programs of flight testing in the region, to support integration and development for the defence sector,” Tawazun said.
