Egypt’s PM witnesses signing 3 agreement with EBRD

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s prime minister Mostafa Madbouly has witnessed the signing of three agreements with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on the sidelines of Africa 2019 Conference.

Egyptian investment minister Sahar Nasr signed an agreement with president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Suma Chakrabarti, to finance Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company by $201 million.

Nasr also inked agreement for $50 million finance with Chakrabarti for the building of a new Asphalt plant for Suez Oil Company.

EBRD’s president, Banque Misr's chairman Mohamed El-Etreby, and Sarwa Capital Holding for Financial Investments signed a letter of declaration for the issuance of EGP 500 million Securitised bonds by Egypt’s New Urban Communities Authority.
