Cairo – Mubasher: The consolidated financial statements of Cleopatra Hospital Co. showed a 24% year-on-year drop in its net profits during the first nine months of 2019.

Net profits declined to EGP 169.9 million in the January-September period, compared to EGP 224.9 million in the corresponding period of 2018, including minority shareholders’ rights, the company said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday.

In the meantime, the company’s revenues rose to EGP 1.28 billion in the nine-month period ended 30 September from EGP 1.06 billion in the prior-year period.

As for the third quarter of 2019, Cleopatra Hospital Co. logged a net profit of EGP 72.2 million, down from EGP 91.5 million in Q3-18.

At the level of standalone financials for the January-September period, the company posted a net profit of EGP 137 million, compared to EGP 147.2 million in the same period of 2018.

It is worth mentioning that during the first half of 2019, the company’s net profits slid to EGP 97.74 million from EGP 133.4 million in H1-18.
