Cairo – Mubasher: Exports of the Egyptian Export Council of Engineering and Electronic Products increased by 16.58% year-on-year to $225 million in October from $193 million, data released by the General Organization of Export and Import Control (GOEIC) showed on Tuesday.

In addition, exports of agricultural products grew to $120 million in the tenth month of 2019, compared to $104 million in the corresponding month of 2018.

Meanwhile, exports of food industries rose to $293 million last October from $263 million in the same month a year earlier, while exports of textiles levelled up to $78 million from $71 million in October 2018.

In addition, exports of ready-made garments advanced to $142 million last month, compared to $132 million in the same month of 2018, while exports of construction materials increased to $459 million from $446 million in October 2018.
