Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Transport and Commercial Services Company’s (Egytrans) profit declined by 15% year-on-year during the first nine months of 2019, the company’s consolidated financial statements showed.

Profit went down to EGP 29.8 million from January to September 2019, compared to EGP 35.08 million in the year-ago period, according to a bourse statement released on Thursday.

Revenue rose to EGP 214.6 million in the January-September period, from EGP 187.4 million a year earlier.

Quarterly, Egytrans’ profit reached EGP 6.12 million in the third quarter of 2019, against EGP 10.11 million the year before.

It is worth mentioning that the EGX-listed company’s standalone profit declined by 18% year-on-year during the first nine months of 2019.
